A Few Error Codes Along With Their Descriptions

Code 1

 'This device is not configured correctly.’

Solution:

It means that the gadget has no drivers set up or is configured wrongly. You need to update the driver(s) by clicking the option ‘Update Driver’.

Code 3

‘The driver for this device may be corrupted, or your system might be running low on memory.’

Solution:

If the driver is tainted, you need to uninstall the same, scan for a new hardware to re-install the driver. If the computer has inadequate memory to run the machine, you can shut some applications to make memory accessible. You might also have to install extra random access memory.

Code 12

Solution:

Solution:

You need to uninstall the driver, and then choose the Scan option for hardware alterations to reinstall the driver.

Code 38

‘Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a preceding example of the machine driver is still in memory.’

Solution:

You need to restart the computer. Then go to the General Properties tab and click on the Troubleshoot option to initiate the Troubleshooting Wizard.
