DLL File Errors

It is possible that sometimes when trying to open a program, file, or document you can meet the following error messages:

Error Starting Program
A required .DLL file, MSO97.DLL, was not found.<Program> requires the file 'MSO7enu.DLL' to run. Run Setup again to assure proper installation.

 In the brackets stays not the word program but the name of the program you try to access. 

If there are certain conditions there can appear such problems> Here you can have some of such problems: you perform Setup from an directorial system tip and get on "Run from Network Server"; you decided to have the common elements on the server; another problem may occur if you run a Typical or a Custom installation for a stand-alone edition of all kind of the Office programs using the program’s compact disc or trying to download it from another network server or distribute; you begin a stand-alone program.

If do not want to have such problems then it is mandatory not to install a stand-alone edition of the programs after you run a "Run from Network Server" installation on the computer you used for installation of incompatible programs. For example if you want to install a stand-alone version of Microsoft Outlook after you executed a "Run from Network Server" setting up of other Office 97 program, it is necessary for you to do a "Run from Network Server" installation of Microsoft Outlook 97, other wise you’ll receive an error report.

However, what if you were not attentive and the problem occurred? Do not despair. There are two steps, or options rather to say which can be used in order to eliminate the problems you have. The first method says about the copy of Ms*.dll Files to the Folder which was indicated in the Registry. Be very careful because if you use Registry Editor the wrong way, there can appear far more serious problems with the operating system and you will have to reinstall it again. These files can be found in the network service in the MS Office\Office. In order to use this option, you should use this method, you must give a constant drive letter to the network server and allocate. Every time you install new programs, no matter the usage, there are many keys created in your register that also includes the BinDirPath key, and right after the installation, they already exist in your registry. The BinDirPath key refers to those folders where the programs searching for definite dynamic-link library (DLL) files, contain Mso97.dll and Mso7enu.dll.
